Yeah, the show has gone overboard and hurts us, equine artists...
Wonder if someone's gonna call my equinesona "Applejack ripoff"...
Yep, it's a bit like the Spirit movie. Suddenly, any kind of cartoon horse is "Spirit-style", almost any natural colour is "like ___ (Spirit character)"... and also in my case, any horse animation I do must be "like that scene in Spirit!"
The fans project their beloved things... everywhere.
Not many artists wants to be badass cowboy horses, unlees they're rippin' of AJ, but AJ is ripping of Quick Draw McDraw himself!
