... so I "returned" and then promptly vanished again. Woo.

Been swamped with several sudden private commissions and things; every night, endless drawing. ._.
And I daren't even look at all the messages waiting for me here! 8,819 and 13 notes...

Anyway, have some random quick thing...
It was going to be another big pixel piece, but just don't have the time.
So back to this cartoony style. SAI and Photoshop. A few hours.

This is absolutely gorgeous on all levels. I'm really liking the colors you've used here-they compliment each other beautifully to create this lovely, thick plumage which looks, frankly stunning, particulary in the tail feathers and shoulders. I love that determination in those eyes too and the way you've posed the body so it seems to be leaping upwards with calm strength. So much movement.....and the design itself is incredible- I don't know how you come up with these things.
If this is a "random quick thing", then wow, you have incredibly high expectations of yourself. Believe me, please, when I tell you are obviously extremely talented at art and this is a spectacular piece of work.
